I used a home made pin locator to find the exact position of the holes to be drilled.

The pin location is then transfered to the stock.

Home made "Spike" for drilling on centers. The center of this bolt was drilled out and a steel rod was pressed inside it.

The "Spike" can then be adjusted in the drill press to be centered below the drill bit.
