| With everything together, it was finally time to test fire and make sure everything was in working order. 9/21/04 9/28/04 Shot groups of Leigh Valley patch lube against groups of home made Bear Grease, found no differance between the two. All spent patches look good. After much thought, I did install a Chambers White Lightning vent liner. I'm just not used to the slight delay upon firing. Although I really had no problem from the bench, I was concerned about shooting from cross sticks in a hunting situation. |

| I never ever shot a flintlock before. So these three shots were not only the first shots from my rifle but my first three as well. Set at 25 yards, I held at the bottom of the larger square and was very happy to see them all in the same area. |
