The barrel comes fitted to the barrel channel but the Breech needs to be squared. Below is the result of a couple of hours worth of fussing over the fit. I needed to go slow and make sure the breech butted up to the stock perfectly, no gaps. Candle soot shows a perfect octagon shape on the breech end of the stock. So I'm happy.
				A perfect fit! If you look close, you can see a mark on one of the barrel flats that marks where the face of the 1/2 inch Breech plug will end up inside of the barrel. This measurement is important when fitting the Lock.
