With the Lock stripped and after finding and marking the web between the bottom of the barrel and the ramrod channel, it's time to inlet the Lock.
After filing a draft on the inside of the Lock plate, I inletted it until the bolster rested snug against the breech of the barrel.
Next I inletted the internal's.
This is the first time I ever inletted a Lock, it is time consuming work. I haven't tried the Lock fully assembled yet, the Lock panels still need to be brought down some. So I'm sure there is still some minor adjusting to do but besides drilling for the Lock bolts, this parts pretty much done.
