This is after a coat of Laurel Mountain Forge Walnut stain. I was afraid of the wood being to red as Cherry can be. This one coat darkened it enough to my liking. |

This was one of the hardest decisions to make on this whole build. Whether to leave the cherry natural without any stain or just a lye treatment. But I really wanted a darker aged look similar to what Welcomes rifle looks like now. I'm very happy with what Roy has achieved here. |
